Message	crankshaft to fail. Yes, the pic is correct for V8 oiling... I'm not sure what David Reher is trying to convey by saying it intersects at the centerline of the crank, but every domestic V8 crankshaft I've ever seen, crossdrilled or not, as been drilled as depicted in the first two images. For simplicity sake I didn't draw them at the exact angles relative to main/rod journal oreintation, but you get the idea.
